“This season wrapped around my finger, with nothing left to lose”
When I heard the intro to this song, I immediately started smiling. “Christmas (all I need is here)” is the new single from Boston based punk group Call Me Anything. They’ve made it available for free download, and you won’t be disappointed. The guitars are beautiful, the melody catchy, and it has an overall lovely holiday feel to it. Don’t take my word for it, though. It really is worth a listen or two, or even a great addition to Christmas playlists. And no one hates free music.

Forever the Sickest Kids have had a busy year; Kent and Marc both left the band leaving the band as a foursome. They set off on tour to support Good Charlotte early in the year, then set off on a headlining tour, only to have just finished up supporting Simple Plan on the “Get Your Heart On” Tour. Currently unsigned after their fairly recent departure from Universal Motown Records, they just released a Christmas song titled “Mistletoe is for Quitters” on December 5.
You can listen to the song here:

No, that wasn’t a typo. Yes, the band will indeed be appearing on a special Christmas episode of the childrens show that will air on December 18th.
Now, I’m usually the first one to complain about too much Christmas music. With it starting around Halloween now, there’s only so much I can take before I’m ready to kill someone everytime I hear Jingle Bells. So when I hear of MCR performing a christmas song, I (like a lot of people) let out a huge groan and rolled my eyes. However the song they are performing on the show is just a little different. It’s titled “Every Snowflake is Different (Just like You)” and is a bouncy rock tune that would have fit perfectly on their most recent, “Danger Days” album.
You can check out more info as well as a video of the band’s performance here!
