Parachute has released a new song called “Can’t Help.”  The band started streaming the song on Buzznet on Tuesday, and will release it officially on iTunes on June 4th.

Today is a lucky day for you Hawthorne Heights fans! The band has released a brand new single titled “Golden Parachutes,” along with a lyric video to go with it!

So who ARE Deaf Weekend?

Meet the girls:

Alison; guitar and lead vocals

Lara; Drums

Anna; keyboard and backing vocal

They’re from Cork, Ireland and they’re young, I’m talking seventeen and formed the band in May 2011 when the friends realised that blending their musical abilities could really get them somewhere, and it’s working. They vary between the genres of indie and pop with Alison’s distinctive voice making their songs stand out. The girls write about nights out, boys and the ups and downs of teenage love, friends and their general experiences with life. With lyrics that are easily relatable, one listen to their music will make you fall in love.

The girls are hardworking, ambitious, energetic and extremely passionate about music. They are out on a mission to enter the music scene with a bang, and there is little doubt about them succeeding. The band have been working hard in the studio recently on their demo and first official single which will hopefully be released during the summer, along with some possible gigs. The three best friends recently put out a music video to their song “Yellow Ties” which is on their demo and have received many hits since the release of the video. The girls’ determination radiates from their unique and quirky lyrics and the extreme passion they have for their shared love of music.
