I will be having the pleasure of sitting down with these young men later in May, but I thought I’d check out their first EP, Pre-Columbians, released in 2011. Theres something very Minus The Bear about them, and their lead singer reminds me of MGMT’s Andrew VanWynGarden. Fun fact: They range in age from 15-17! Regardless of their age they sound a decade or so older with just the right edge of youthful indie rock flare.
If you like what you hear, I’ll be posting the interview online.
